Crest Brewing Company is a family-run brewery and taproom opening in 2026 in the small community of McMahan, Texas. Led by a father‑and‑son team, Cody, Ryter and with help from his brother Beaux are pouring their shared passion for beer, craftsmanship, and community into every detail of this new venture. Crest Brewing is designed to feel less like a business and more like a place where locals and travelers alike can slow down, connect, and enjoy a fresh pint together.
A Century of Character, Brewed Anew
The brewery is housed in a refurbished auto garage that’s over 100 years old, giving Crest Brewing a distinctive blend of history and new life. The original character of the building—its bones, its stories, its sense of place—has been preserved and reimagined, with the old service bays now home to stainless steel tanks and the hum of a working brewhouse. It’s a space that honors McMahan’s past while raising a glass to its future.
Sip and See: The Open Taproom
Inside, you’ll find a full taproom with a direct view into the brewery, so you can watch the brewing process while you sip. From grain milling to boiling, fermentation, and transfer, the equipment and production area are part of the experience, not hidden in the back. Whether you’re a beer enthusiast or just beer‑curious, the open view lets you see exactly where your pint comes from and how it’s made.

At launch, Crest Brewing Company will feature our custom craft beers on tap, each crafted with care and designed to offer something for every taste—from easy‑drinking styles for hot Texas afternoons to richer, more complex brews for lingering evenings on the patio. As the brewery grows, Cody and his son Ryter plan to experiment with seasonal releases and small‑batch creations, always anchored in quality and drinkability.
